Civil War Kids Camp

Have your kids ever wondered what life was like during the Civil War? At the Civil War Kids Camp they can find out what it was like to be a Civil War soldier in the 1860s. Kids can learn about spies, women soldiers, home life, slavery, and field hospitals while at camp. Also a National Park Service historian will take the kids on an interactive walking tour where they can learn about real Civil War soldiers who fought here. Your child will also learn how to shoot a cannon! This is a great camp for kids to have fun and learn about history at the same time. The camp takes place on April 21st from 8:30am – 3:00pm. You can register your child here.

Grandparent/Grandchild Archaeology Day Camp

Campers will learn about recording information and digging up artifacts. They will also get behind-the-scenes lab tours and demonstrations.
